A current WWE star recently revealed that he would welcome an opportunity to compete inside the ring for the first time in over three years. However, he claimed he would not become a full-time in-ring competitor.

The star in question is none other than Adam Pearce. The current RAW General Manager last wrestled on the March 1, 2021, edition of the flagship show when he teamed up with Braun Strowman against The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander) in a RAW Tag Team Championship Match.

Pearce has since been focused on his job as an on-screen authority figure. However, the five-time NWA World Champion recently revealed he would be open to returning to the squared circle for a match if the WWE creative team asked him.

Meanwhile, the 46-year-old pointed out in an interview with Chaotic Good Sports that he was not looking to become a full-time in-ring competitor in WWE, disclosing that he was happy doing his job as RAW General Manager.

"Listen, if the time comes and they say, 'Hey, we need you to have a match,' Brother, I will get my hands dirty. I got my hands dirty last night with Bronson Reed a little bit, you know what I mean? I am certainly capable, but am I looking to do that, particularly on a full-time basis? Hell no! I'm good. I'm good just telling people it is official," he said. [39:25-39:45]

Adam Pearce addresses his performance as WWE RAW General Manager

Adam Pearce has recently been criticized by fans for the red brand being chaotic under his leadership. The RAW General Manager addressed this criticism in a video shared on WWE's social media.

The 46-year-old claimed that the Monday Night Show was chaotic because he "drafted it to be," pointing out that he brought "the most sadistic warriors in professional wrestling" to the red brand to deliver the most exciting program.

"Everybody says, 'Monday Night RAW is chaotic; it needs to be controlled more! It needs to be calmed [sic] down! Oh my God, who is going to rein everybody in?' Nobody. Monday Night RAW is chaotic because I drafted it to be. I brought the most sadistic warriors in professional wrestling and sports entertainment together on Monday nights for one reason, and that is to deliver to you the most exciting program on worldwide television," he said.

Several big matches have been booked on RAW over the past few weeks, including last Monday's Last Monster Standing Match between Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed. Next week, Sami Zayn will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, while Sheamus and Pete Dunne will lock horns in a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match.
