WWE Superstar Maxxine Dupri has come a long from her role as a valet to becoming a full-fledged professional wrestler. Recently, Chad Gable, who recruited her into the Alpha Academy, praised her highly.

The star began her career in WWE with the NXT brand in 2022, serving as a valet for Von Wagner under the management of Robert Stone. Later Dupri was moved up to the main roster of Friday Night SmackDown joining forces with LA Knight (fka Max Dupri), Mace, and Mansoor as the Maximum Male Models faction. However, the group did not reach its full potential.

In February of 2023, the female star jump shipped to Monday Night RAW, where she embarked on a comedic storyline with Otis. Subsequently, Master Gable welcomed her into the Alpha Academy.

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Chad Gable discussed the rapid progression of the 27-year-old WWE female star. He revealed that The Alpha Queen has been learning to wrestle on live television, week after week.

"How unique of a situation to where she's [Maxxine Dupri] really learning to wrestle week by week in front of a live TV audience. Because at the time she wasn't even doing live events, all she was doing was coming to TV and learning there to work, and then go into the Performance Center in Orlando. But we got to a point where we knew she was going to start having some singles matches. And to her credit, she asked me to get in the ring with her at shows before TV and stuff, which of course I did," Gable said. [H/T: CVV]

The former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion expressed his admiration for Maxxine Dupri's dedication to mastering old-school wrestling fundamentals under his guidance, rather than focusing on flashy, modern moves.

"So we would work on, I kept telling her let's do the basics, because we're at a level and with our company I think what's most appreciated and to me, at least what stands out the most with new people is when they do the basic things really, really well. Not some flashy new flip or something or new move that looks cool, that doesn't impress me. Someone doing the old-school stuff really well and snug and they were taught properly, that impresses me," he added. [H/T: CVV]

Maxxine Dupri was assaulted on WWE RAW

The Alpha Academy members Dupri, Otis, and Akira Tozawa have left Master Gable's side after the latter verbally chastised them on television for weeks. The 38-year-old WWE star later aligned with The Creed Brothers to form a new group named American Made.

On this week's Monday Night RAW, Julius and Brutus Creed faced Alpha Academy members in a Texas Tornado match with Maxxine Dupri at ringside.

Ivy Nile turned her back on her best friend and brutally attacked The Alpha Academy member which led to American Made securing a victory over Otis and Akira Tozawa. It would be interesting to see Maxxine Dupri compete for a WWE women's singles championship in the future.
