A former WWE Superstar has blasted a fan for saying he was glad he got released last year. The star in question is none other than Top Dolla.

Top Dolla was brought back in late 2022. His second run with World Wrestling Entertainment didn't last long and he was released last year. AJ Francis has been active in TNA Wrestling since then.

The 34-year-old star recently praised Ricochet on X/Twitter. A troll responded to him and called him mid, adding that he was happy Dolla was released. The former Hit Row member didn't hold back in his response to a troll who said that they were "glad" WWE "canned" him.

In response, the erstwhile Top Dolla told the person that they did not know what "mid" meant.

Top Dolla believes he will return to WWE for another run

So far, Top Dolla has had two runs with the Stamford-based promotion. His first run was from 2020 to 2021, and his second run was from 2022 to 2023. He believes that he might return to the company somewhere down the line.

In an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Top Dolla had the following to say:

"Absolutely, absolutely. The second run was worth it, and I’m telling you now, it’s probably not gonna be the last run. I have a good relationship with the people at WWE. I was backstage when they were in Houston just because I happened to be in town with Bun B. Bun wanted to come to the show, but he was booked. Then he ended up coming with me to TNA, and that was really cool.” [H/T Fightful]

Top Dolla's last match in the promotion took place on September 10, 2023. That night, Hit Row lost a Six-Person Tag Team match to Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, and Zelina Vega.

Dolla competed against some of WWE's biggest names during his stint in the promotion, including LA Knight, Braun Strowman, and Drew McIntyre.
