WWE has hosted some great shows over the years that have given countless stars a chance to shine. A former champion recently picked up a big win and commented on his plans after the contest.

Wes Lee, who is a three-time WWE champion, faced off against his former teammate, Zachary Wentz, in a grudge match on the CW Network premiere of NXT. Wentz came over from TNA Wrestling to try and teach his former friend a lesson for betraying him several weeks ago.

The two men competed in a Street Fight where they threw everything they could at each other. In the end, the former NXT North American Champion scored the victory.

While speaking in an NXT Exclusive backstage, Wes Lee talked about beating the man who was like his "brother." He made it clear that he was capable of doing a lot more than people saw.

"I feel great. I beat my brother exactly the way that I said that I would. That goes out to anybody else that thinks that they can step to me and thinks they have a chance. I have shown a level that people do not want to see me reach ever again. Stay on my good side. Period, point blank," Wes Lee said. [H/T Fightful]

Lee noted that he was not sure whether The Rascalz could give up crossing his path. Only time would tell when they would meet once again.

"I’m done with The Rascalz. But are The Rascalz really done with me? Because I really know how those two operate. Only time’s gonna tell. But I’m definitely focused on more things to solidify my own legacy. Got a couple things in mind," Wes Lee said. [H/T Fightful]

WWE fans could see Wes Lee get back in the NXT North American Championship picture soon. He was one of the top title holders until Oba Femi came in to crush all his opponents.

WWE NXT hosted a big show on Tuesday night

Shawn Michaels and Triple H left no stone unturned to ensure that the CW Network premiere of WWE NXT would become the talk of the town. CM Punk was advertised to appear on the show and officiate the NXT Championship match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams.

Additionally, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill appeared on the show to help NXT Women's North American Champion Kelani Jordan.

The Miz was also present during the broadcast where he hosted Miz TV with Oba Femi as his guest. The segment turned out to be better than expected.

Overall, Shawn Michaels did extremely well to get NXT over on its first night on the CW Network. Fans can expect another big show next week.
