3-time World Champion explains why he re-signed with WWE

Drew McIntyre had an outstanding start to the year when he punched his ticket to a title match at WrestleMania XL and received a heartwarming moment with his family and fans after winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Later, tragedy struck for Drew McIntyre and his family, and the star took some time off from the company for the first time.

In an interview with Bleacher Reports' WrestleRant, the former World Heavyweight and two-time WWE Champion explained the unfortunate events in his life and how Nick Khan and Triple H's support made him re-sign. He also expressed how WWE has changed and the company's new outlook also became a reason for him to stay with the promotion.

"Thankfully, Nick Khan and Triple H are very understanding about the family aspect and what I need from the company right now, what I need for my family right now, and what I need perhaps outside projects, and we figured everything out," McIntyre said. [From 10:28 to 10:43]
