Kevin Owens could pay the price for his actions this week on WWE SmackDown. KO teamed with Randy Orton and beat A-Town Down Under but not before initially choosing Ricky (no, not Starks) as his mystery partner. The Prizefighter ended up attacking the independent wrestler, with a Stunner and was thrown out of the ring, for an Orton-Owens reunion.

However, it's not Ricky who Owens should be wary of as he snubbed the opportunity to choose fellow star Giovanni Vinci as his mystery partner before that. The former WWE Universal Champion spoke backstage ahead of the show and ridiculed potentially teaming with the Italian.

Giovanni Vinci made his WWE SmackDown debut last week and suffered an embarrassing loss to Apollo Crews in less than six seconds. He was absent from the blue brand this week but could be out for revenge and to prove a point to Kevin Owens.

The former Imperium member might be angered by Owens' mockery and targeting the veteran star can help put him in the spotlight. He could even call upon Ricky to help him out, with both seemingly having enough reasons to hit back at The Prizefighter.

Ricky was all smiles as he headed to the ring as KO's mystery partner but ended the night on the mat after receiving a Stunner for his efforts. His supposed ally and Orton even took playful digs at him.

Kevin Owens and Randy Orton could enter WWE SmackDown's tag division

Kevin Owens and Randy Orton embraced with a hug before defeating Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. They had formed a tag team before both challenged for WWE's world titles at Bash in Berlin on August 31.

R-KO could now get back to tagging on a consistent basis and might be eyeing the tag titles. That would mean re-entering The Bloodline storyline as the current tag champions are Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

It would make sense as the Tongans aren't in action at the next premium live event, Bad Blood on October 5. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu will represent The Bloodline when they face Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns in the Undisputed WWE Champion's hometown of Georgia.

That match was made official tonight on WWE SmackDown with Rhodes and Reigns signing the contract. This could rile up The American Nightmare's friends Owens and Orton because they still have issues with The OTC from years of feuding with the original Bloodline.

The Tongans have defended the WWE World Tag Team Championships once since winning the titles. A match against R-KO could go a long way in cementing themselves as top dogs on the blue brand.
