WWE Superstar Kevin Owens appears to have embraced his heel turn in recent weeks following his shocking attacks on his friends Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton respectively. Owens has given the company until this Friday to air footage of him explaining his actions.

There is a possibility that Owens could make his feud with Rhodes even more personal by attacking a former WWF and WCW legend, Arn Anderson. Anderson was a close friend of Cody’s father, Dusty Rhodes, and currently serves as a mentor to The American Nightmare.

This personal and professional relationship has often been highlighted on AEW television in the past and was recently revisited at SummerSlam when Arn was seen backstage offering advice to Rhodes before his match against Solo Sikoa. Anderson was also spotted at Bad Blood, which recently took place in Cody's hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.

The global juggernaut could capitalize on this dynamic by booking Anderson in an angle with Kevin Owens. The Prizefighter could get immense heat by attacking the Hall of Famer, intensifying the personal rivalry with Rhodes.

Arn Anderson recently talked about his status with WWE

With his recent appearances at WWE events, fans had been wondering whether Arn Anderson had signed a Legends deal with the company.

The former Four Horsemen member recently addressed this question. The veteran said that he was content with making a few appearances here and there but clarified that he hasn't had any conversations with WWE about a Legends contract yet.

“No, but that’s okay. I haven’t had that one-on-one conversation about that in particular. It’s alright just for me popping in from time to time, if that’s what they have for me. I wouldn’t be disappointed if that’s what it was. But you never know, we’ll see," Anderson said.

Given Cody Rhodes' close relationship with Arn Anderson, it will be interesting to see if we get to see him as an on-screen character in the near future.
