Jimmy Uso has been absent for a while from WWE SmackDown, and a lot has happened since he was last seen on the brand. Interestingly, he might immediately get involved in The Bloodline's business once he returns.

Jimmy Uso was kicked out of The Bloodline when Solo Sikoa took over following WrestleMania XL. It was later reported that this was the company's way of writing off the former member due to an injury. Fortunately, recent reports have shared that he was already cleared to compete and is set to return. With this in mind, he could surprise fans on this week's episode of SmackDown by providing backup to #DIY and Street Profits for their upcoming match against Solo Sikoa's group.

In the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline will go against The Street Profits and #DIY, who will join forces, in an eight-man tag team match. However, the group could think outside the box and take out one of the members of The Street Profits, possibly Angelo Dawkins, to get a number advantage. This could lead to Nick Aldis tasking Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, and Montez Ford to either compete in a handicap match or find a last-minute superstar to side with them.

In this way, Jimmy's return wouldn't be entirely predictable. He could return by attacking Solo during his segment with Cody Rhodes. Uso would then replace former tag team champion Angelo Dawkins in the match. Also, the tag team layout could help the returning star settle back into the ring as he would have several people by his side.

Should Jimmy Uso return alone on WWE SmackDown?

If Jimmy returns this week on WWE SmackDown, then he wouldn't be the first of The original Bloodline members to do so. At SummerSlam 2024, Roman Reigns attacked Solo Sikoa and cost him the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes.

However, Solo's Bloodline eventually proved to be too much for the Original Tribal Chief. Due to this, it's a no-brainer that Jimmy will immediately have a target on his back once he returns to the brand. Interestingly, wrestling analyst Sam Roberts had other ideas as to why Jimmy shouldn't return alone.

On a past episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, he said that he couldn't see Paul Heyman and Jimmy returning without Roman Reigns, as it wouldn't make much sense. He noted that fans may have to wait until the Original Tribal Chief returns for all the pieces to come into effect.

It remains to be seen when and where fans will get to see Jimmy Uso again on WWE SmackDown.
