Jey Uso is one of the top superstars set to compete at the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank event. However, his previous issues could affect his status in the country, possibly resulting in another name taking his spot instead.

Jey Uso will join LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes, Drew McIntyre, Andrade, and Chad Gable this weekend for the WWE Money in the Bank ladder match with the titular contract on the line. The show will take place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a country where the RAW star previously experienced some restrictions due to problems with the law, something that Jacob Fatu could utilize to his advantage.

The Usos have a history of DUI offenses, especially Jimmy Uso. His brother, Jey Uso, was charged with one in January 2018. This history has already given them problems in the past. In 2022, the twins weren't allowed to enter Canada for SmackDown. However, Jey might not have to worry about this for the upcoming event.

It was initially thought that The Usos wouldn't be able to appear at last year's Elimination Chamber, which took place in Montreal, Canada. However, Jey appeared during Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns' match, though only for a short appearance, after reports stated they could legally go to the country now.

With this in mind, it's unlikely that Jey will be absent this weekend for WWE Money in the Bank. However, if the company wants to keep fans on the edge of their seats, it could still have an angle where Jey is attacked backstage by Jacob after orders from Solo Sikoa and eventually have The Samoan Werewolf replace the RAW star.

Is Jey Uso the favorite to win WWE Money in the Bank 2024?

Jey has been doing well since branching out from The Bloodline and becoming a singles star. He has fought for various championships and feuded with former world champions, but fans are still not convinced he could be this year's Money in the Bank winner.

According to BetOnline.ag., Drew McIntyre is the heavy favorite with -250, while Jey Uso has the second-worst odds at +1100. For the rest of the competitors, Andrade is +350, LA Knight is +600, Chad Gable is +900, and Carmelo Hayes is +6000.

It will be interesting to see if Jey Uso will win the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase this year.
