WWE has a dream match coming up in just under a week. Roxanne Perez is set to go one-on-one with the incredibly talented Giulia. As if that wasn't exciting enough, the NXT Women's Championship will be on the line.

This bout will take place on NXT's premiere on The CW on October 1. To add to the occasion, the show will emanate from Chicago in a bigger building. Most would assume that a high-profile match in a major setting will lead to a title change, but that shouldn't be the case.

Giulia would be an excellent champion for the WWE NXT brand in the future. She is one of the best wrestlers in the world. Still, it would be best for Roxanne to retain her gold next week.

Of course, this isn't to say Giulia shouldn't be the one to dethrone Roxanne. Instead, the talented Japanese star should simply wait to do so for at least a few weeks, if not a few months.

Giulia could use more time to connect with the WWE Universe

The first reason why Giulia shouldn't win the title immediately comes down to building a connection with the WWE Universe. While it is certainly possible to do so even with an immediate push, a delay will help it build more organically.

Fans like Giulia, but outside of beating up Chelsea Green, they don't truly know much about The Beautiful Madness yet. If her win over Roxanne is delayed, it will establish the Japanese star as an underdog babyface, which will get fans more behind her. This, of course, is as opposed to winning gold immediately.

A win for Roxanne Perez will cement her title reign as one of the best-ever

Giulia's title win being delayed will also benefit Roxanne Perez. If the reigning WWE NXT Women's Champion manages to defeat Giulia, even one time, it could be the shining moment in what has been an incredible title reign.

The Prodigy has defeated Lyra Valkyria, Tatum Paxley, Jordynne Grace, and Thea Hail, among others. Her reign as champion has been great. If the young star can knock off Giulia, it could cement it as one of the best reigns ever.

Giulia's WWE NXT Women's Title win should happen at a premium live event

The final main reason why Giulia shouldn't win the NXT Women's Championship on the debut episode of the brand on The CW next week is that it should happen at a PLE. A WWE Premium Live Event victory will mean more for Giulia than a televised one.

Most of the iconic championship victories in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut and modern wrestling as a whole have taken place at a big pay-per-view or premium live event. A title changing hands on TV is a thrilling sight, but Guilia winning the gold at a marquee PLE will establish her as a star in the Stamford-based promotion.
