Former champion to return as Adam Pearce's assistant on WWE RAW? Analyzing the chances

Adam Pearce has been dealing with a lot on WWE RAW lately, whether backstage or inside the ring. However, one former champion could lend him a helping hand in managing the chaos on the Monday show.

The former champion in question is Kiana James, one of the NXT stars drafted to WWE RAW during this year's 2024 Draft. She made her main roster debut match against Natalya and made her presence known to Adam Pearce not long after, but has suddenly disappeared on recent programming. However, these plans could change soon.

As mentioned above, WWE RAW has been going through a lot lately. Bronson Reed has been wreaking havoc, Drew McIntyre and CM Punk continue to attack each other, and it's only a matter of time until The Wyatt Sicks finds a new target and more. If Adam was not considering getting an assistant before, he is now. Interestingly, the General Manager may have even started to notice her disappearance after addressing her absence on social media.

The former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion could reason that she has taken time off intentionally so Adam could further feel how it will be running the show alone and that she has been learning about how to manage shows in her spare time.

Kiana could even reason that she was spending time with NXT General Manager Ava, citing that they had a history together in the Tuesday shows. This could convince Pearce to finally employ her as the Assistant General Manager.

Shawn Michaels' opinion on Kiana James is important as she wrestled under the developmental brand for a couple of years before moving to the main roster, and the person who knows him best as a performer is The Heartbreak Kid. Unsurprisingly, he has nothing but positive things to say about her.

After Kiana was announced to be moving to WWE RAW, the Hall of Famer said that James gets better and better every time she performs and now, she could showcase her skills on Monday Nights.
