Raquel Rodriguez came back to WWE after nearly six months and cost Rhea Ripley the Women's World Championship at Bad Blood. The former Women's Tag Team Champion assaulted Mami and aligned with Liv Morgan, with Ripley winning the match via disqualification, but Liv Morgan retaining the championship.

The former champion is now out for revenge, re-igniting her feud with Raquel Rodriguez, and the expectation is that the two will have a match either on RAW or the next premium live event, Crown Jewel, on November 2 in Riyadh.

Their on-screen rivalry, though, is ways away from their real-life relationship. The two top stars are best friends outside the ring and Ripley once opened up about the respect she has for Raquel.

"The two people that I really like have to give credit to are Raquel Rodriguez. She's my best friend. We went through so much at the Performance Center together. We were the only two girls in Scotty's class," Mami said on After The Bell With Corey Graves. (H/T - WrestlingNews.Co)

The two are also best friends with former women's champion Bianca Belair. There was a time when all three of them held titles in WWE, with Raquel being the NXT Women's Champion, Bianca was the SmackDown Women's Champion, and Rhea the RAW Women's Champion respectively.

Rhea Ripley - Raquel Rodriguez feud goes back to their NXT days

Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez started their WWE career at NXT. They first collided at Halloween Havoc back in 2020 and New Year's Evil in 2021, splitting wins. New Year's Evil was the last time that Mami appeared on NXT.

Rodriguez moved to the main roster in 2022, a year after Rhea Ripley, and went on to become the Women's Tag Team Champion with Liv Morgan. In the summer of 2023, the duo had a feud with Rhea Ripley, with The Eradicator injuring Raquel's knee and costing them the Women's Tag Team Titles.

In addition, she targeted Liv Morgan and injured her, forcing her to miss time to recover, which was the main reason behind the reigning Women's World Champion's revenge tour.

Fast forward to today, Rhea will soon have a match with Raquel, seeking revenge on her on-screen rival before going after Liv Morgan again for the Women's World Championship.
