At WWE Money in the Bank 2024, Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn successfully defended his title against the force named Bron Breakker. While Zayn was widely appreciated for his performance at the premium live event, Breakker's uncle and legendary wrestler Scott Steiner accused Zayn of cheating.

Since then, several wrestling fans have issued their statements on the matter. However, the real question is: did Sami Zayn really cheat? The answer to this question would be no. Throughout his match against the 26-year-old superstar, Zayn did not cheat in a single instance.

Even the end of the match between Zayn and Breakker was clean. While Breakker looked to get the job done with a spear, Zayn countered with a kick, followed by his famous Helluva Kick. This sequence helped the Canadian superstar register a win over Steiner's nephew.

Hence, the comments made by Scott Steiner are not true. However, there is a huge chance that Steiner made these comments while staying in kayfabe, and he is just trying to cover up for his nephew's loss as a heel. Regardless of the reason, Breakker will have another chance against Zayn when they fight at SummerSlam 2024.

Ex-host believes Sami Zayn will lose the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam

When Sami Zayn beat Gunther to win the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40, he brought about one of the most exciting moments in professional wrestling history. Not only did Zayn win a title, but he also ended the longest-reigning Intercontinental Championship run in history.

After this victory, many believed that Zayn would rule as the champion for a long time to come. However, as per ex-WWE host Matt Camp, the Canadian superstar's time as Intercontinental Champion will come to an end at SummerSlam. During an episode of The Wrestling Matt podcast, Camp gave his opinion on the match and said:

"He's [Bron Breakker] gonna beat Sami for the IC title. They're not gonna have him lose twice." [From 57:32 to 57:35]

Given how WWE has booked Breakker till now, it's not a surprise that many believe he won't lose two consecutive matches to Sami Zayn. However, if there is anyone in WWE who could put an end to the violent run of Breakker, it has to be the Intercontinental Champion. After all, it was Zayn who put an end to Gunther's reign.
