CM Punk kicked off the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. He discussed his feelings after the intensely physical, hard-hitting Hell in a Cell match against Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood 2024.

Punk said that he was right about not having any Hell in a Cell matches left in him, and also informed the fans that he was banged up more than ever before. He concluded his promo by saying that he is unsure what the future holds for him. All signs point to The Voice of the Voiceless taking some time off.

However, the main question that comes to mind is when CM Punk will return and who his next foe will be. The Stamford-based promotion has already dropped a major spoiler regarding this. Before leaving, Punk was interrupted by Seth Rollins, and the two stars had an intense face-off.

Before Drew McIntyre, the company planned to book Punk vs. Rollins as the main event at WrestleMania 40, Night One. However, those plans were canceled after the former AEW World Champion injured himself at Royal Rumble and was forced to take some time off. This could now be the perfect time to revive the scrapped plans for the much-anticipated feud.

If Rollins wins back the World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk could return to win Royal Rumble 2025, allowing the two bitter rivals to headline WrestleMania 41.

Is CM Punk actually injured?

After competing in a vicious match at Bad Blood 2024, Punk collapsed on the ramp after leaving the ring. Medical officials rushed out to help him, even putting an oxygen mask on him. On RAW, The Best in the World hinted that he is not in a great position to compete, which left fans concerned about whether he is actually injured.

Speaking on Fightful Select’s Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp disclosed that CM Punk's collapse at Bad Blood 2024 was a work, and The Second City Saint's health is absolutely fine.

The same report even suggested that some sources said that both stars revived the sense of danger for which classic Hell in a Cell bouts were famous.
