Brock Lesnar has been missing from WWE for more than a year, with his last match coming against Cody Rhodes back at SummerSlam in 2023. There were rumors that The Beast was set to make his return at the Royal Rumble back in January, but this didn't come to fruition and instead, it seems that WWE has been waiting for the perfect time to unleash The Beast once again.

Lesnar was referenced twice on RAW last night and the second time was part of an in-ring segment between Cody Rhodes and Gunther. It's clear that Gunther wants a match against Lesnar and he could be getting it if The Beast makes his return as part of their upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia.

Rhodes and Gunther will collide in Riyadh to decide who the Crown Jewel Champion is and Brock Lesnar could return to take out both men. This could then lead to WWE setting up a match between Gunther and Lesnar that could be billed as his retirement match.

Brock Lesnar could be thinking about WWE retirement in the coming months

Brock Lesnar is 47 years old and should now be thinking about retirement. Gunther would be the perfect person for him to put over on his way out. Lesnar was the man who defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 and him being defeated by someone like Gunther could push his career forward.

The Ring General has already proved that he is someone who could lead the company forward in the coming years but a match against Lesnar and being put over by someone of his caliber could change the Austrian's career.

Gunther would lose the Crown Jewel Championship if Lesnar interferes, but he would be able to get revenge on Lesnar and get a massive push heading into WrestleMania 41 in April 2025.
