Braun Strowman was victorious in the Last Monster Standing Match this week on WWE RAW. However, this was only after Seth Rollins interfered in the contest and handed him the win by attacking Bronson Reed with a Stomp.

During the bout, Strowman and Reed laid waste to security, and The Auszilla even manhandled Adam Pearce. While Pearce moved out of the way of the top rope splash from Strowman, he still took out the whole field of officials. This could force the RAW general manager to punish The Monster Among Men next week.

News coming out of the show is that Strowman has sustained a torn groin and may need a few weeks away from the ring to recover. Instead of revealing that another star has been injured after Ilja Dragunov, WWE can opt to suspend the former Universal Champion in storyline to allow him some time off.

Strowman is flying high following his victory and can move into a much more prominent storyline if he is given the chance.

What's next for Braun Strowman following WWE RAW?

Bronson Reed will obviously switch his focus to Seth Rollins following the attack, which cost him the match this week. This means that Strowman is free to have a conversation with The Miz following the latter's heel turn.

The two men were talking backstage before Braun Strowman's match, and it's unlikely that The Monster Among Men will be happy with the way things went down in Awesome Truth's bout against AOP. Strowman was seemingly drafted to RAW to help The Miz and R-Truth against Bronson Reed. However, now that The A-Lister has turned heel, the former Universal Champion could target him on the red brand.

There is a lot of potential for Braun Strowman on RAW, but given his recent injury, it's likely that he will be out of action for a few weeks and pick up where he left off in the build to Survivor Series 2024.
