WWE SummerSlam is just around the corner, and anticipation is high among fans for the much-awaited premium live event. The show is set to take place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

Seven matches have already been announced, including six title matches. In the main event, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa.

Here are four final changes WWE could make to SummerSlam on the go-home episode of RAW ahead of The Biggest Party of the Summer.

#4. Ilja Dragunov gets added to the Intercontinental Championship Match

A few weeks ago, Ilja Dragunov faced Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. However, the match came to an abrupt end when Bron Breakker attacked both competitors. Last week, Dragunov faced Breakker for a chance to face Sami Zayn at SummerSlam. Bron secured the win after a nasty spear took out The Mad Dragon, forcing a referee stoppage.

Ilja will likely look to get back at Bron for his recent attacks. There is a possibility that he could launch a surprise attack on Bron during the upcoming episode of RAW, potentially leading to the Intercontinental Championship match becoming a Triple Threat at SummerSlam.

#3. Slim Jim Battle Royal returns

Slim Jim signed a new deal with WWE in 2023 and is currently one of the company's top sponsors for its major events.

Last year at SummerSlam, a Slim Jim Battle Royal took place. The 25-man Battle Royal was eventually won by LA Knight, marking The Megastar's first major victory at a premium live event.

WWE could announce on RAW the return of the Slim Jim Battle Royal at the 2024 edition of SummerSlam.

#2. The Wyatt Sicks' first match since WWE debut could take place at SummerSlam

It's been well over a month since The Wyatt Sicks first made their presence felt in WWE. A series of captivating vignettes have since aired on RAW, establishing the group's true motivations. They are currently involved in a feud with Chad Gable and his latest recruits, The Creed Brothers.

There is a possibility that a six-man tag team match between the two teams will be announced for SummerSlam during the upcoming episode of RAW. Making their in-ring debut as a group at The Biggest Party of the Summer would be a great start for them.

#1. Major stipulation change to Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk

After last week's blockbuster announcement, it was revealed that on the upcoming episode of RAW, Special Guest Referee Seth Rollins will be giving Drew McIntyre and CM Punk the official referee instructions ahead of their much-anticipated bout at SummerSlam.

It is pretty clear that all three men don't like each other. Rollins might impose his authority and try to take advantage of being the special guest referee. He could do so by making the match between Punk and McIntyre a no disqualification match, which would allow him to get involved physically during their match.
