Santos Escobar and Legado Del Fantasma asked SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis for an opportunity on the latest show since they felt he was handing them out at random. Escobar not only asked for himself but also for Elektra Lopez and the Garzas. After some reasoning, Aldis gave the group what they wanted.

However, it may not play out how they planned, as the SmackDown GM mentioned the Garzas would "regret it" after walking off. With a big debut slated for next week, any of the next four teams could be the mystery duo against the Garzas.

#4. Pretty Deadly may be booked as a joke on Legado Del Fantasma

Since Legado Del Fantasma hasn't done much lately on SmackDown, Aldis might try to teach them a lesson by booking Humberto and Angel against a comedic duo.

Escobar's faction hasn't piled up many victories lately. SmackDown's GM could passively insult the group by putting Pretty Deadly on the other side of the ring.

It would probably upset Escobar since he wants prime competition for his faction and matches that can get them closer to title contention.

By doing this, he can send a message that wins, opportunities, and title shots are earned and not simply handed out like they felt they were. Even beating a comedic duo like Elton Prince and Kit Wilson can mean something.

#3. The Lucha Brothers could get some TV time

Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix have disappeared from AEW screens. They could be heading to WWE once their deals expire. AEW has dropped the ball with their booking despite being one of the early acts that helped get the new promotion off the ground.

Aldis claimed that Escobar and the Garzas would regret demanding an opportunity. What better way to get back at the disrespect than by booking them against one of the world's best and most popular tag teams?

The Lucha Brothers' status is still up in the air but a shocking appearance next week would confirm that the game has changed again on SmackDown.

#2. The Bloodline runs things on SmackDown

Unless the Authors of Pain or Wyatt Sicks make the jump to SmackDown for a night like Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, the best way Aldis could inadvertently punish Legdao Del Fantasma would be to pit them against The Bloodline.

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are the current titleholders. They have already dispatched the two biggest challenges in DIY and the Street Profits.

If Aldis wants to send a message Escobar won't forget, he could send the Garzas into the den of wolves that is the new Bloodline.

#1. The Motor City Machine Guns debut could be next week

Over the last two weeks, a brief video has teased a new act for SmackDown. This week's show revealed that the new talent would arrive on next week's show.

The tease was for the Motor City Machine Guns as images of Detroit, guitars, and city landscapes permeated the vignette. Aldis has a history with Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley dating back to their time in Impact/TNA Wrestling.

He said that Legado would regret demanding an opportunity. Having the Garzas lose to a brand new team would only further upset the group since they'd be overlooked for a different duo.
