8-time champion, not Roman Reigns, to save Paul Heyman from The Bloodline? Exploring the connection

Paul Heyman isn't exactly in the best position right now. With The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns out of the picture, Heyman is forced to play Wiseman for Solo Sikoa and his new Bloodline. It's clear that the Hall of Famer wants out, but could it be an eight-time champion, and not Roman Reigns or Jacob Fatu who saves him?

The eight-time champion in question is none other than CM Punk. While there have been rumblings suggesting Roman Reigns or Jacob Fatu could come and help Heyman, The Voice of the Voiceless may beat them to it. After all, the two have quite the history together, seeing as Punk was once a "Paul Heyman Guy".

Although CM Punk is a two-time WWE Champion, three-time World Heavyweight Champion, and a one-time ECW, Intercontinental, and World Tag Team Champion, his most successful spell in WWE, came when he was working with Heyman in late 2012. The two worked together for close to a year, and in that time, Punk had one of the longest reigns in the company's history.

What's more, the two have always been great friends, as Heyman took notice of The Best in the World back when he was still with OVW.

Given their relationship, it wouldn't be all that surprising to see the former AEW World Champion become Heyman's savior. But, at the end of the day, this is all just speculation, as there is no telling what the future holds for either Heyman, Punk, or The Bloodline.

Solo Sikoa seems to be on the verge of getting rid of Paul Heyman

Since Solo Sikoa took over the reins of The Bloodline, it has been utter mayhem. His recruits, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have laid waste to Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and The Street Profits. If that's not enough, Sikoa also kicked out his own brother, Jimmy Uso from the faction. But, what he may have planned next could spell trouble for Paul Heyman.

Heyman has been vehemently pleading with Sikoa to listen to him, especially when it comes to new recruits and how to run the group. However, it looks like The Street Champion has had enough of The Wiseman and could be preparing to get rid of him. After all, he recently threatened to let Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa loose on the 58-year-old if he lost his match on last week's SmackDown.

Fortunately for Paul Heyman, Sikoa ended up beating Kevin Owens thanks to his intervention. But, at this point, it only seems a matter of time before The Wiseman finds himself without a Tribal Chief to give counsel to.
