WWE's new era under the creative leadership of Triple H has been widely acclaimed as a landscape of opportunities. It has provided chances for most superstars to shine and come to the spotlight. However, there is also a long list of names on the current roster who have become victims of abysmal bookings and lackluster storylines.

The Game has failed to harness several superstars' full potential despite having every opportunity to do so. From a former women's champion to a returning superstar, a number of talents whose WWE careers once looked promising are now up in the air. The company's creative missteps have halted their momentum and paved their downfall.

Let's look at seven WWE stars Triple H has failed recently.

#5. Blair Davenport

Blair Davenport is one of the superstars the Triple H-led regime fumbled with in recent times. The 28-year-old has become a victim of lackluster and inconsistent booking ever since she made her main roster debut. WWE had every opportunity to build her as a credible heel in SmackDown's women's division.

However, The Game ended up making a huge creative misstep by burying Davenport on her main roster debut as she lost two consecutive matches. Neither did the company feature her consistently on weekly shows, nor was the former NXT star put into any good feud or storyline on the blue brand.

Hence, this proved to be one of the biggest failures of the Chief Content Officer, Triple H, in the new era. WWE could not harness Blair Davenport's full potential despite her having unparalleled charisma.

#4. Otis

One of the biggest opportunities that WWE squandered was making Otis a top star. During his rivalry with Chad Gable when the Alpha Academy was on the verge of implosion, the 32-year-old was on red-hot momentum. Moreover, fans were rallying behind him, wanting to see him receive a huge push following the turmoil.

Just when WWE had a golden opportunity to make Otis one of the biggest babyfaces on RAW, Triple H once again floundered. The King of Kings could not capitalize on his momentum and ended up making a huge fiasco with the former Heavy Machinery member.

Fans were vociferously clamoring to see Otis as a top babyface, but the WWE CCO did not strike when the iron was hot. The company, instead, deflated his momentum by putting him in preposterous backstage segments and giving him minimal on-screen appearances.

#3. Pure Fusion Collective

The Triple H-led creative is known for experimenting with superstars and one of those recent experiments is Pure Fusion Collective. WWE brought Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark together and formed a new faction with the intent of building a dominant women's stable on RAW.

However, Triple H has arguably failed with the trio, as the WWE CCO could not book them the way they should have been. The three superstars, collectively known as the Pure Fusion Collective, have been losing match after match every week on RAW, which has significantly affected their credibility.

Moreover, WWE has failed to insert them into any prominent storylines or feuds on the red brand since their formation. The faction that once looked promising failed to create an impact due to poor booking.

#2. Giovanni Vinci

Giovanni Vinci is one of the most recent superstars Triple H arguably failed with. The 34-year-old was instantly buried on his highly anticipated SmackDown debut as he lost his first match in the blink of an eye. Moreover, this week on the blue brand, WWE handed Vinci his second consecutive loss, which completely crushed his momentum.

This is one of the most controversial moves that raised several eyebrows, with fans questioning HHH's creative input. Giovanni Vinci had all the hype and clamor around his WWE return, which the company could have capitalized on, but the Stamford-based ended up making it a huge fiasco.

Hence, Triple H has arguably fumbled with the former Imperium member despite the latter having good momentum to kick off his SmackDown run on a high note. Even if his two consecutive losses are part of long-term storytelling, Vinci may not be able to recover from the damage that has already been done to his character.

#1. Lyra Valkyria

Among the long list of superstars Triple H misused in recent times, Lyra Valkyria is the biggest name who could have been a game changer. The 27-year-old had everything to be a top star in the WWE women's division. Moreover, Becky Lynch also endorsed Valkyria during her arrival on RAW.

Despite the former NXT Women's Champion riding high on momentum upon her main roster debut, WWE failed to put her in major storylines on the red brand. Though Lyra Valkyria did receive a fair share of opportunities initially, it did not last long, with WWE eventually injecting her into lackluster storylines.

Triple H's abysmal booking has not only affected her momentum but also become the biggest roadblock in her path to becoming a top star in the women's division. Hence, Valkyria is one of those superstars The Game failed with, as the company has not been able to harness her full potential yet.
