WWE Network and Peacock is a wrestling fan's dream come true. The on-demand platforms offer tens of thousands of hours of pro wrestling programming from WCW, ECW, several NWA territories, and even promotions such as EVOLVE.
The big hook, of course, is the World Wrestling Entertainment library, which continues to update each week. This Monday, for example, saw a new edition of RAW Talk added on-demand. Tuesday then featured a week-old episode of NXT, although NXT archives have been effectively removed from Peacock in recent weeks.
Wednesday saw new uploads as well. Monday Night RAW from the prior month was made available on-demand. Lastly, a brand new episode of This Week In WWE was added to the archives on Thursday.
Six new full-length programs will be added on-demand over the next few days. This includes the Stamford-based promotion's next massive premium live event featuring Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, other in-ring action, and more.
Below are six shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend.
#6. The SmackDown LowDown will air
A new episode of The SmackDown LowDown will be streaming this weekend. As a reminder, the series no longer airs on Saturday mornings, but instead takes place immediately following SmackDown on the USA Network as well as on WWE Network and Peacock.
For those unaware, the series features Megan Morant and Scott Stanford who break down the action from the blue brand. Additionally, three interviews are spliced in throughout the show featuring stars from SmackDown.
Last week's interview portion can be seen in the video above. Bayley was first to chat ahead of her big Bad Blood 2024 match with Nia Jax. Andrade was next to be interviewed. Lastly, the duo of Piper Niven and Chelsea Green discussed their ongoing drama with Michin.
#5. Bad Blood 2024 & #4. Bad Blood 2024 Post-Show Press Conference
WWE Bad Blood 2024 will be airing this weekend on both streaming platforms and traditional pay-per-view. The show will have an earlier-than-usual start time, beginning at 6 PM EST. Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell and Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline are the featured bouts.
Once the show concludes, more content will be available in the form of the Bad Blood 2024 Post-Show Press Conference. There is no official time listed for when this will begin, as it is dependent on when the PLE ends.
Notably, WWE is not listing a Countdown to Bad Blood pre-show on the content page. This could be a mistake, as the page often has errors, but there is a chance it is being skipped this month due to the earlier start time. However, the company's YouTube channel is advertising a pre-show.
#3. WWE Main Event & #2. Friday Night SmackDown, two shows that recently aired elsewhere will be added
Two shows that recently aired on other platforms will soon be arriving on-demand on WWE Network and Peacock. This includes Main Event, which has been a Hulu exclusive for many years, and Friday Night SmackDown, which was exclusive to FOX until last month. Due to the initial exclusivity, there is a delay before the programs can arrive on-demand.
WWE Main Event from September 19, 2024, will be added on-demand on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The first bout of the show saw NXT's Sol Ruca take on Alba Fyre. The main event of Main Event saw the Alpha Academy take on two members of Gallus.
Friday Night SmackDown from September 6, 2024, will be added to the archives on Sunday, October 6, 2024. This was the last-ever edition of the blue brand on FOX and it featured The Bloodline vs. DIY & the Street Profits in a quality eight-man tag team match.
#1. NXT Level Up will stream
A new episode of NXT Level Up is set to stream on WWE Network and Peacock this weekend. More specifically, the show will begin immediately following The SmackDown LowDown, which airs after SmackDown on FOX, on October 4, 2024.
As a reminder, NXT Level Up is not typically added on-demand for Peacock subscribers immediately after airing on the live feed. This is due to past contractual obligations with Hulu, although with that deal now expired, it remains to be seen whether or not this changes.
Just two matches have been announced for NXT Level Up this week. The main event will see Harlem Lewis make his debut against Dante Chen. In perhaps an even more interesting bout, The D'Angelo Family's Adriana Rizzo will go one-on-one with NXT Level Up regular Lainey Reid.
