5 WWE stars who could leave Monday Night RAW soon

WWE has three brands. The main roster currently consists of Monday Night RAW, which airs on the USA Network, and Friday Night SmackDown, which moved to USA after spending five years on FOX. There is also NXT on the CW Network.

Monday Night RAW is the longest-running show of the three, having first debuted nearly 22 years ago in January 1993. For over a decade now, the red brand has been three hours long each and every week, but that is set to change.

For the next three months, Monday Night RAW is set to be just two hours each week. The format will likely return to the three hours fans have grown to know once they move to Netflix in January, but for now, the change is intact.

This, along with other reasons, could potentially lead to some stars moving from Monday Night RAW to another brand, likely SmackDown. This article will look at five superstars who are most likely to move.

#5. Drew McIntyre isn't on the Netflix poster

Drew McIntyre is one of WWE's top stars. The heel superstar has been a top name in the company for many years now, but his rise as a villain over the past year and a half or so has been particularly compelling.

The Scottish Warrior is currently in a deeply personal feud with CM Punk. Their issues are so serious that the two will be going one-on-one inside Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood tomorrow.

The main reason why Drew McIntyre is likely moving brands comes down to the Netflix poster embedded above. Drew is notably missing. Beyond that, he has battled most of the top names on RAW and once his Punk feud ends, a move to SmackDown would make sense.

#4. Isla Dawn & #3. Alba Fyre, The Unholy Union could join Blair Davenport

The Unholy Union is a tag team comprised of Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre. The two have been quite successful together, as the Scottish stars have won both the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles and the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles together.

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn recently lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles back to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. This forced the two to remain on RAW full-time, but they might be interested in a move back to SmackDown.

Prior to losing the belts, the pair formed an alliance with Blair Davenport. Losing the gold forced them to go their own separate paths, but if Isla and Alba move back to the blue brand, the trio can become an official stable moving forward. From there, the three could try to take over the blue brand's women's division.

#2. Jey Uso could move to SmackDown to help Roman Reigns

Jey Uso is one of the most beloved superstars in all of WWE. The former Bloodline member went solo last year and moved to Monday Night RAW. Fans and most of the roster accepted him with open arms and now he has one of the biggest fanbases in the industry.

Recently, Uso managed to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career. This was also his first singles title in the promotion since joining the main roster around a decade ago.

Now, however, ghosts from his past may soon reappear. Many expect Roman Reigns to try to reunite the original Bloodline to take on Solo Sikoa's version of the stable. If that's the case, Jey could end up moving to SmackDown sooner rather than later to be part of this story and potentially reunite with his cousin.

#1. Sami Zayn could follow Jey over to the blue brand

Sami Zayn is another extremely popular WWE performer. He has been in the industry for over two decades and has managed to capture numerous titles in World Wrestling Entertainment, but there is one major goal he has yet to accomplish.

The Underdog From The Underground is currently attempting something special in WWE. Sami is looking to win his first-ever world title and he plans to do so by dethroning Gunther on Monday Night RAW next week. The odds aren't in his favor, but he is one of just three men to defeat Gunther in the company, so a win is possible.

Still, the more likely result is that Sami loses. From there, he could be moved to SmackDown for one of two stories. He could be part of the aforementioned Bloodline angle, but alternatively, he could play a role in the "will he-won't he" storyline with Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. Could he relieve tension between the two?
