5 Wrestlers who might get a push on RAW 

This past Monday on RAW, Roman Reigns delivered one of the passionate and gut-wrenching promos in wrestling when he announced that he was battling from leukemia due to which he was relinquishing the Universal Championship and stepping away from the ring.

This segment shocked the fans to no end and some in the crowd were left teary-eyed after the segment ended. Such was the impact of the segment that in just five minutes the crowd went from booing the Big Dog to chanting ' Thank you, Roman '.

Roman Reigns has been the top star of the company for the five years. In these years, the former Football star has emerged as a locker room leader whom the boys respected a lot. Reigns announcement has hit his peers as almost a dozen of them have tweeted or spoken out in support of the Big Dog. The Big Dog has become such an integral part of the company that it is now hard to imagine the WWE without the Big Dog.

Reigns' absence has left a huge vacuum on RAW and it is a herculean task for the company to find a superstar to replace the big dog at the top of the red brand. Here are five Superstars whom we think might get a push in the absence of the Big Dog.

#5 Drew McIntyre

The Scottish Psychopath has been one of the most consistent performers on RAW ever since returning to the main roster following WrestleMania 34. His partnership with Dolph Ziggler has not only revived the Showoff's career but has provided McIntyre with a platform to show the WWE Universe how much he has improved since leaving the company in.

McIntyre has improved by leaps and bounds and the results are there for everyone to see. McIntyre has all the qualities of a top star and with the right kind of booking, the sky is the limit for the former Intercontinental Champion.

McIntyre is currently feuding with The 'Monster Among Men', Braun Strowman after knocking the Monster down multiple times with his patented Claymore kick. This feud is expected to continue for the rest of the year presumably for the Universal Championship, provided Strowman defeats Lesnar at Crown Jewel.

A long-term programme against Strowman is just what McIntyre needs at the moment. While his tag team run with Ziggler has been great, it's time for the Chosen one to kickstart his singles career once again. A win over someone like Strowman will not only put McIntyre in an elite list of Superstars to have beaten the 'Monster Among Men' but will also make the Glasgow-native the Undisputed King of the red brand.

#4 Braun Strowman

One of the most popular stars in the company, Braun Strowman is one of the last remaining big men in the WWE. While WWE was considered to be land of giants that isn't the case anymore. WWE have evolved so much over the years that we see guys like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, and Seth Rollins, who weren't the prototypical WWE Superstars, succeed in the company and reach the pinnacle of Sports Entertainment.

What is even more astounding is the fact that Strowman had no prior experience in professional wrestling before signing with the WWE. Strowman was a professional strongman before arriving in the company. Strowman has improved tremendously both on the mic and in the ring over the past two years. His endearing personality has attracted millions of fans all around the world.

While Strowman has been a one-man-wrecking-crew for the past two years, a singles Championship have alluded him thus far. The Monster Among Men has been chasing the Universal Championship for the past one and half years but sadly haven't been successful in winning the red strap.

He will collide against the 'Beast Incarnate' Brock Lesnar for the Vacant Universal Championship at Crown Jewel on November 2 where many believe that the Monster Among Men is finally going to slay the Beast and become the Universal Champion.

#3 Seth Rollins

2018 has the year of the Kingslayer. The reigning Intercontinental and RAW Tag Team Champion has been on a red-hot streak since the start of 2018 and is showing no signs of slowing down. From his 60-minute + performance to his series of excellent matches against the likes of The Miz, Finn Balor, and Dolph Ziggler, Rollins have proved to the MVP of WWE's flagship programme.

Rollins will most likely feud with his Sheild Brethern, Dean Ambrose after the latter turned on him following the main event of this week's RAW. Rollins has been at the top of the heap on Monday Nights before when he was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2015. Rollins is a proven drawn and is one of the hottest babyfaces in the company right now.

Ambrose Vs Rollins is a feud that the WWE Universe has been wanting to see ever since the duo reunited before SummerSlam last year. The initial plan was for Ambrose to turn on Rollins and face him at WrestleMania 34 but Ambrose's injury meant that the creative team had to scrap that plan. Now that Ambrose has turned heel, we expect the duo to create magic on the ring as they did in 2015. Rollins has been at the top before and there is no reason why he can't do it again.

#2 Dean Ambrose

After getting injured at the end of last year and being sidelined for more than 8 months, the Lunatic Fringe made his much-awaited return to in-ring to be in the corner of Seth Rollins in his Intercontinental Championship match against Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam.

After weeks and weeks of anticipated, Ambrose finally turned heel on Rollins after the duo had just won the RAW Tag Team Championship from Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler this past Monday on RAW. Ambrose's heel turn was something fans expected for a long time but one could've guessed that the company would pull the trigger on a night when Roman Reigns made that gutwrenching announcement, but they did and it was nothing short of spectacular.

Ambrose has for long lived under the shadow of Rollins and Reigns, who have had more success than the Lunatic in the company. We will have to wait till Monday to hear Ambrose's explain why he stabbed his brother in the back. Ambrose is one of the best promo guys in the company and we believe that his segment next week will be one of the highlights of the show.

Ambrose has the experience of leasing a brand as it's top star as he was the first draft pick for SmackDown in the 2016 Brand Extension Draft and led the blue brand in it's initial few months. His Lunatic character is a perfect fit for a heel and going by the nuclear hear that he received this past Monday, Ambrose is undoubtedly going to be a major player on the red brand for the next few months.

#1 Kenny Omega

Widely regarded as the best wrestler on the planet, Kenny Omega is one of the most recognized faces on the non-WWE wrestling scene. Omega's series of matches against Kazuchika Okada has received worldwide acclaim with many fans and critics claiming that this series was one of the best in the history of professional wrestling.

Omega's popularity has transcended Japan and the Canadian Superstar has become a well-known face all across the globe, thanks to his incredible body over the past few years.

Omega has always been highly critical of the WWE and has decided to stay in Japan despite numerous offers from Vince McMahon & Co. But with the recent regime change in New Japan, a lot of talents are said to be upset with the management.

As per reports, some Superstars who were dead sure of resigning with NJPW are weighing their options and planning a potential move to the WWE. Omega has achieved all there is to achieve in the land of missing sun and the Best Bout Machine is reportedly heading to WWE once his New Japan Contract expires early next year.

Omega will be a huge catch for the WWE and given the right circumstances, we see no reason why he wouldn't sign with the world's biggest wrestling promotion. Omega is a proven main event player who has consistently delivered on the big stage and has captivated millions of fans around the world in the process. There is a huge void left by the Reigns and we believe that Kenny Omega is the best person to fill that void.
