WWE Friday Night SmackDown will be absolutely stacked next week. The program is set to feature three big matches, two of which will be special stipulation bouts. Additionally, AJ Styles will be making his return.

Of the three matches booked, the one without a stipulation is Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi. Additionally, Chelsea Green and Michin will clash in a Dumpster Match. Lastly, The Bloodline will put their titles on the line in a Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder Match.

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa will be taking on The Street Profits' Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, plus DIY's Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. All three teams have reason to win, but an argument could be made that DIY are the ones who should leave with gold.

This article will break down reasons why it should be Ciampa and Gargano who leave as champions and not the other two teams. Reasons include a likely break up, redemption after a prior reign, and beyond.

Below are four reasons why DIY should dethrone The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown next week.

#4. A title change would be a big moment

WWE Friday Night SmackDown has been on fire lately and things clearly aren't slowing down next week. The show is stacked, which is especially fitting since it will be the final SmackDown ahead of Bad Blood.

While the Bad Blood Premium Live Event will inevitably be a night to remember, it is important to make memorable moments on the weekly WWE television as well. In fact, that is likely a contributing factor to Triple H limiting the card size on premium live events.

SmackDown needs big moments and DIY winning the title match next Friday will supply one of those. Fans in attendance will never forget it, especially if the bout takes place in the main event of the program.

#3. DIY's previous WWE Tag Team Championship reign was too short

DIY has had quite the journey in WWE. They joined NXT as indie stars without a proper contract who were put together as a team. They had instant chemistry and went on to become NXT Tag Team Champions and then singles stars.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa went on to feud and go their separate ways before reuniting last year. They then won the WWE Tag Team Titles from A-Town Down Under before almost immediately losing the gold to The Bloodline, albeit under shady circumstances.

Many believe the two stars were short-changed with such a brief reign. By having DIY win the gold back, it could correct a problem many fans had. DIY have worked hard to reach these heights and they deserve a sustained run on top.

#2. The Street Profits will probably split up sooner or later

Beyond The Bloodline and DIY, the other team involved in the bout is The Street Profits. The team is made up of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. As a tag team, The Street Profits have held the RAW Tag Team Titles, WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles, NXT Tag Team Titles, and even EVOLVE gold.

While they've had tremendous success as a tag team, many believe that both stars will be going solo sooner rather than later. WWE fans even think one of the two could turn heel on the other, which could then lead to a long-term feud between the talented performers.

If The Street Profits are indeed going to break up in the near future, the pair doesn't need to win tag team gold. While it could be used as a story device, it isn't necessary, and DIY would be better off having the gold while Ford and Dawkins could go on to feud in the singles division.

#1. The Bloodline doesn't need the belts

The Bloodline has long been the most dominant faction in WWE history. The group, under the leadership of Roman Reigns, was on top of the world, however, the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline is equally dangerous. The fact that Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have the Tag Team Titles is proof enough of how dangerous they really are.

With that being said, The Bloodline doesn't really need the WWE Tag Team Titles. The group is feuding with the likes of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. With the addition of Jacob Fatu, they're clearly a main event act.

DIY would be better off with the gold both because it would benefit them more than it would The Bloodline, but also for the sake of the division. If The Bloodline is focused on main event acts, the Tag Titles take an unneeded back seat. A team like DIY will keep the titles relevant.
