Sheamus faced Drew McIntyre and Ilja Dragunov in a Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match during the latest episode of WWE RAW. The winner of the bout was supposed to take the last spot in the 2024 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The match was an intense encounter as all three men showcased why they are regarded as some of the hardest-hitting superstars in all of WWE. In the closing stages, McIntyre avoided the Brogue Kick from Sheamus and countered with the Claymore Kick to secure the win and book his spot in the 2024 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Here are four potential directions for Sheamus following his loss on the latest episode of WWE RAW.

#4. Change of scenery

Sheamus made his much-anticipated return from injury a few months back but has since suffered significant setbacks, including defeats in the 2024 King of the Ring tournament and the recent Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match.

At this stage of his career, The Celtic Warrior might realize that he cannot wait for opportunities to come his way and must instead create them. Seeking a change of scenery, Sheamus might strike a deal with Nick Aldis to move to SmackDown for new opportunities.

#3. Unfinished business on WWE RAW

Sheamus has been involved in a feud with Ludwig Kaiser over the past few weeks, delivering entertaining segments and matches. During the match between Kaiser and Bron Breakker last week on RAW, Sheamus interfered, delivering a devastating Brogue Kick to Kaiser.

Kaiser reportedly injured his arm during the match and will be out for a few weeks. During this week's show, Kaiser promised that he would be coming back to get his revenge on The Celtic Warrior. All signs indicate that this feud could be the direction for Sheamus heading into the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event.

#2. Mini feud with Drew McIntyre

It is evident that Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk is one of WWE's major programs right now. However, there might be some delay, as it was recently reported that Punk is not yet medically cleared to make his in-ring return from injury.

In the meantime, WWE needs to have plans for The Scottish Warrior before Punk's eventual return. A small program with Sheamus can be the perfect solution. Sheamus and Drew McIntyre have a lot of history together and always produce magic when they face each other.

This would not only keep McIntyre engaged in a meaningful storyline but also allow The Celtic Warrior to be involved in a major program, something that has not happened since his return.

#1. Pursuit of the Intercontinental Championship

Sheamus has been chasing the Intercontinental Championship for the past few years, the one title that has eluded him in his illustrious career. Despite a few unsuccessful attempts in his battles with Gunther, Sheamus remains determined to achieve this goal.

Sami Zayn is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship at the Money in the Bank 2024 Premium Live Event against the impressive Bron Breakker. Recently, there have been hints that Sheamus may be involved in the title picture moving forward, as he confronted both Zayn and Breakker during a segment a few weeks ago. This suggests that Sheamus might be the next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship, regardless of who wins the match at the Money in the Bank 2024 Premium Live Event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
