Triple H has done a fantastic job since taking over as WWE's Chief Content Officer. His leadership has received rave reviews from superstars, fans, and critics alike. Safe to say, this new era is off to an incredible start, and many expect the success to continue.

That being said, as every member of the WWE Universe knows, there is no such thing as perfect. Every storyline has its flaws, as does every match and promo. And, in Triple H's case, one could say The Game made some mistakes when it came to title changes.

In 2024 alone, there have been 24 title changes so far. Whether it's on NXT, SmackDown, or RAW, several titles have changed hands this year. Now, while not all of them were bad, here are three title changes that Triple H shouldn't have booked:

#3. The Bloodline captures tag team gold by defeating #DIY on SmackDown

During last week's episode of SmackDown, the duo of Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu brought the WWE Tag Team title to The Bloodline after defeating #DIY. But this could prove to be an egregious mistake on Triple H's part.

For starters, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa were not given enough time to strut their stuff as champions. Their reign lasted just 28 days. Secondly, The Bloodline is currently reeling with injuries. Not only is Tonga Loa injured, but now Jacob Fatu might be out for a while after a scary spot at SummerSlam, which makes the tag team gold practically useless.

Finally, with Roman Reigns back in the picture, it's safe to say that there will be little to no spotlight shown on the tag title, so long as they remain with The Bloodline.

#2. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at Clash at the Castle

There is no denying that the partnership of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill is formidable. Their strength and skill inside the squared circle alone have made them fan favorites. However, the manner in which they lost the Women's Tag Team Championship is somewhat questionable.

With The Storm and The EST winning the title at Backlash France this past May, it felt like the Triple H-led creative team pulled the trigger on the dominant tag team's reign prematurely, as they lost the championship to Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn on June 15, 2024.

The creative team could have given the duo a longer reign before pulling the trigger for an eventual rivalry. Moreover, WWE didn't split Bianca and Jade after they dropped the title, which made the booking decision even more questionable.

#1. Trick Williams should not have beaten the personification of intensity, Ilja Dragunov

Trick Williams winning the WWE NXT Championship was a feel-good moment. It was a fitting reward for Williams considering his incredible work and his immense popularity. However, Trick beating Ilja Dragunov fair and square somewhat left a sour taste in the mouth.

Ilja Dragunov is the epitome of intensity personified. The Mad Dragon has proved his mettle inside the squared circle with his gritty performances.

In contrast, Trick Williams is still a work in progress. While he is beloved by fans, Williams needs to polish his skills in the ring. So, to have him win the title against The Mad Dragon, that too 'cleanly,' was a bit too much.
