This Saturday WWE will present the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. While not necessarily deemed as big as WrestleMania, the Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, or SummerSlam, Money in the Bank plays a huge role in WWE's creative journey for the remainder of the year and the start of the next.

The marquee matches at the show will see male and female superstars climb the ladder as they attempt to capture a briefcase that entitles them to a championship match anytime they want for up to a year.

With so much at stake this Saturday, below are three WWE Superstars that fans should look out for.

#3. Is it finally Tiffy's time in WWE?

The Women's Money in the Bank will see Chelsea Green, IYO SKY, Lyra Valkyria, Naomi, Zoey Stark, and Tiffany Stratton compete for the career-altering case. Whilst many of them have a claim to be the winner, Stratton seems destined to unhook the case when the match comes to an end.

The former NXT Women's Champion arrived on the main roster at the start of the year and has not looked back since. The Buff Barbie has been putting in strong performances against many top names as well as receiving huge ovations from fans all over the world.

One of the objectives of the Money in the Bank match is to elevate stars to the next level. Considering that Stratton has yet to capture a World Title on the main roster, a win in Toronto may be the perfect way for her to get closer to that goal.

#2. Jey Uso continues his rise to the top

Like the Women's match, the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match is filled with top WWE Superstars, such as Chad Gable, Andrade, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, Carmelo Hayes, and Jey Uso. All of them will attempt to climb to the top and capture the briefcase.

The undoubted fan favorite heading into the contest is Jey Uso. The former member of The Bloodline has been able to break free of the shackles of his family over this past year and has transformed himself into a top main event singles star.

During a recent interview with the Daily Mail, the former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion explained why he feels more confident than ever as a performer.

"I’m actually more confident than ever right now. I took all the tools that they gave me. During the pandemic era, being with Hunter and Heyman in the room, just with The Bloodline, just us, going over and spitting ideas. I learned all that, and now I apply it on my own. And then working with Hunter right now as a single competitor, it’s cool. I feel like I finally, earned that respect now, and it’s all love." [H/T: Daily Mail]

Jey has challenged for the World Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships since leaving The Bloodline, but he still has yet to capture singles gold. A win in Toronto this Saturday would certainly put him on the right path to the top of the division.

#1. The Second City Saint continues to haunt Drew McIntyre

One WWE Superstar who is not set to compete in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match but is certainly expected to get involved is a two-time winner of the briefcase, CM Punk.

The former WWE Champion is currently nursing a tricep injury, however, he appears to be on the mend as weeks go by. Punk will no doubt keep an eye on the Ladder Match, especially since his rival Drew McIntyre will be competing for the contract.

Most recently Punk cost Drew his chance to win the World Heavyweight Title in his hometown of Glasgow, Scotland, at Clash at the Castle when he came down to the ring as a referee and refused to count to three. Speaking at the Clash At The Castle Post-Show Press Conference, CM Punk made it abundantly clear that he will stop at nothing to make sure McIntyre never wins another championship.

"Not as long as we’re on the same brand, not as long we’re in the same company. As long as there’s air in my lungs, Drew McIntyre’s never, and I promise you, and it’s not a promise that he made, the empty promise that he made to his wife, I promise him he’s never gonna be a champion ever again."

Punk may therefore appear during the Men's MITB Ladder Match this weekend right at the moment. Just when it may look like McIntyre is inches away unhooking the briefcase, The Second City Saint might once again interfere and cost The Scottish Warrior the win.
