On tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso will be competing in a Fatal Four-Way Match against Ilja Dragunov, Pete Dunne, and Braun Strowman to determine the number-one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Ahead of the match, Jey appears to be the favorite to win and challenge Bron Breakker for the gold.

However, there is a chance that during this match, an 11-time champion in the Stamford-based promotion could interfere and cost Jey his opportunity. The person who could do something along these lines is a member of The Judgment Day, and former Universal Champion, Finn Balor.

On last week's episode of Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso aligned with Damian Priest to beat Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Just when The Judgment Day thought Damian would have no one to team up with, Main Event Jey appeared and helped The Archer of Infamy beat the World Tag Team Champions.

This act by Jey Uso surely would not go down well with Balor and his group, and to take revenge, he could have The Judgment Day ruin Uso's chances in his upcoming match.

This scenario could lead to the former Bloodline member teaming up with Priest and Rhea Ripley for a longer duration to take down The Judgment Day.

Wrestling veteran encourages Jey Uso not to leave WWE for AEW

Jey Uso has been one of the most over WWE Superstars in recent times. However, despite all the noise he made, Jey has yet to win a singles championship. Many fans on social media believe the Stamford-based promotion dropped the ball with The Yeet Master on various occasions.

One such man who agrees is Jey's father, Rikishi. The WWE legend slammed the promotion for underutilizing his son and even spoke about the possibility of him moving to AEW. However, in response to Rikishi, wrestling veteran, Konnan, encouraged the 39-year-old to stay with the Stamford-based promotion.

During an episode of the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan agreed that WWE might have dropped the ball with Jey Uso. However, he was against the idea of the star moving to AEW. The veteran felt that good things were in store for the Yeet Master, especially with Roman Reign's return and The Bloodline Saga being bigger than ever before.

"But I don't think going to AEW is the answer, because, yeah, he may get more money, but he'll probably be not used right like 95% of the people there. Stay there, Roman's just got back, you know, they're going to put the Samoan thing together, probably, Jey and Jimmy with Roman again," he said. [From 06:36 to 06:55]

If Jey is able to continue what he has been doing on RAW, then at some point it won't be surprising to see him win his first singles championship. Until then, it will be interesting to see how WWE continues to book him.
