The Toronto Maple Leafs are on a roll after thrashing the Los Angeles Kings 6-2 on Wednesday. The win marks the third win in a row for the Leafs, improving their record to 3-1-0 to start the season.

Fans were elated with the dominating performance over the Kings, taking to social media to celebrate the victory. One fan enthusiastically tweeted:

“Start planning the parade!” referencing potentially winning the Stanley Cup this season.

Another fan said:

"Great win, Leafs – 3 Wins in a row. The best play of the game was Coach Craig Berube timeout after LA Kings 2nd goal in the 3rd period. Smart decision by Coach Berube to calm down the Leafs players."

Here are some more reactions from fans on X/Twitter:

"The Buds got something special going on this year! Best I’ve felt about their chances since these fellas were on the ice for the blue and white." one fan wrote.
"Great game guys!!!! Let’s do it again Saturday!! Go Leafs Go!" another fan said.
"Why didn’t we fire Keefe years ago? This play is beyond amazing! Keep it up," one fan commented.
"The fact we were up 5-2 and Bérubé was LIVID I love that. Don’t get complacent and comfortable," another fan wrote.

The Leafs received scoring from up and down the lineup in the rout. Bobby McMann netted two goals while Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Morgan Rielly and John Tavares each scored one. Mitch Marner tallied four assists on the night.

The scoring barrage was too much for Kings goalies Pheonix Copley (let two goals) and David Rittich (let four goals). Meanwhile, Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz made 32 saves.

The Kings got goals from Kevin Fiala and Alex Turcotte.

Toronto will look to keep this winning g momentum going when they host the New York Rangers at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday. On the other hand, the Kings stay in Canada to take on the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.

HC Craig Berube rates Maple Leafs's performance on 6-2 win over the Kings

Following the Toronto Maple Leafs' decisive 6-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings, head coach Craig Berube praised his team's performance in the win.

"I thought our special teams were excellent. The goalie was really good. We had a good first period and got a lead." Berube said in his post-game media availability.

He specifically highlighted the strong play of goalie Anthony Stolarz, who made 32 saves on 34 shots against a Los Angeles team that peppers the net.

"It is important, not only for the goalie but everybody. Body language is big. Composure is huge. Stoly had great composure tonight in the net. That team shoots a lot of pucks from up top with traffic all the time, but he was really poised in the net tonight." Berube remarked.

Berube did note that the Kings came out hard to start the second period and the Leafs needed to regain their composure at that point. He also felt the team was a bit sloppy in the third period while protecting a multiple goal lead.
