Alex Tuch is a beloved persona off-the ice

The Buffalo Sabres forward has made his place in the hearts of fans with his efforts on and off the ice. When Tuch first arrived in Buffalo from the Vegas Golden Knights, he was welcomed within the whole organization for his genuinely amiable attitude. General manager Kevyn Adams had high praise for the player when he started his journey with the Sabres.

“He went around to the entire staff and just introduced himself and learned what people do,” Adams said. “It’s such a big deal when someone who works in operations or the finance department understands that Alex Tuch knows who they are and appreciates the job they do every day.” [H/T The Athletic]
“He’s very genuine. He doesn’t put on pretenses. He’s very engaging. People gravitate to him,” Tuch’s agent Steve Bartlett had said. [H/T The Athletic]

Even his mates regard Tuch as a great off-the ice persona. Alex’s former teammate Zemgus Girgensons praised the player’s ability to jell well with everyone quickly.

“He’s been great since Day 1. He came in and he was not shy or anything. He was around guys like he’d been around for a while.”

Since joining the Buffalo Sabres, Alex Tuch has become known for his positivity and enthusiasm, especially as a lifelong fan of the team. However, he also holds a special place in his heart for Las Vegas, where he spent five years and started the AT9 Foundation. This organization supports children with special needs and funds research to combat childhood cancers.
