Johnny Gaudreau's widow Meredith Gaudreau enjoyed a super fun day with kids and family

Meredith Gaudreau, the widow of NHL player Johnny Gaudreau, shared some family moments on Instagram. On Saturday, she posted photos from a family day out with her kids, Noa, 2, and Johnny, seven months.

They spent time with Johnny's family, including his mother, Jane, and sister, Katie. The kids were smiling in an RTV, while Johnny's dad, Guy, drove them around a grassy area. Meredith wrote:

“Super fun day today for the kiddos with the fam 🧡.”

This family outing came after the Gaudreau family filed a court motion in New Jersey. They want to stop the release of records about Johnny and his brother Matthew's deaths on Aug. 29. The brothers, who died in a bicycle accident involving an alleged drunk driver, were set to be groomsmen at their sister's wedding.

At Johnny's funeral, Meredith announced that she was pregnant.

"John and I had the best six months as a family of four. These will forever be the best six months of my life," she said via (ABC News).
"There's specifically one week that I will cherish forever — it will be my favorite week of my life out of those six months. We're actually a family of five. I'm in my ninth week of pregnancy with our third baby."

Matthew's widow, Madeline, is also expecting their first child. The Gaudreau family is managing their grief while welcoming new additions to their families.
