Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel was seen at a Donald Trump MAGA rally in Las Vegas recently. A user on X named 'BuckFoston' shared a picture of Eichel with politician Sam Brown, writing:

"Jack Eichel at a Trump MAGA rally in Vegas."

Soon, fans reacted to the post and shared their opinions, which, as one would expect in present circumstances, were varied.

"Golden Knights flop era incoming," One person said, suggesting it might affect the team's performance.
"He’s a good guy. Stop judging people off of politics. Unless you want everyone judging your personal life 🤨🧐" Another fan defended Eichel.
"Oh no someone with different political views, I hate him now, how about people are allowed to live their own lives, if people hadn't post the pictures you wouldn't even know because he is not trying to shove his political views down your throat, just let the man be," a fan said.

There was no comment from Eichel or the Golden Knights. Here are some more reactions from fans:

"Literally doesn't matter. players are allowed to have their political preferences," a fan wrote.
"Good to know. This news is how I figure out who not to support on the PGA tour too," another fan shared.
"NOW I can’t like him. Stoodup for his neck surgery choice. Ignored the prima donna locker room issues. Figured it was just the losing getting to him. It was tough in Buffalo being so young. No more passes. This guy gets the most hates in the NHL treatment from (now) on," one fan wrote.

Jack Eichel's mindset going into the 2024-25 season with Golden Knights

Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights have won Lord Stanley once. Eichel played a key role in that victory. However, last season didn’t go as planned, with the team getting eliminated earlier.

As the team prepares for another Stanley Cup run, Eichel remains an important part of the roster. In an interview with Ryan Leslie, he talked about the importance of starting the season strong. Teams with good starts often make the playoffs, and that’s the focus for the Golden Knights.

“I think the mindset should be to have a good start … Historically, most teams that start well finish as playoff teams," Eichel shared with Ryan Leslie. "For us, it’s important to get off to a good start in training camp and the regular season.”

Jack Eichel prioritizes setting personal and team goals before every season, which helps him stay focused. He is excited about playing for Team USA in the upcoming 4-Nations Face-Off. He missed recent Olympic opportunities and is eager to compete internationally again.
