NHL fans recently got a glimpse into the off-ice life of Connor Bedard. Gino Hard, an NHL insider, shared a candid moment captured on the Prague metro where Bedard was spotted with a fan. Bedard is in Prague for the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.

Connor Bedard's performance at Hockey World Championship
Connor Bedard, the Chicago Blackhawks' standout, had a strong start in the ice hockey world championship with Team Canada but has been scoreless in the last three games.

In Canada's 3-2 win over Switzerland, Bedard, whose Swiss opponent included his Blackhawks' linemate Philipp Kurashev, had the second-lowest ice time among Canadian forwards at 10:14 and no shots on goal. His ice time has decreased from 16:00 against Austria to 13:19 against Finland.
This dip in performance is likely due to fatigue from his first full NHL season. Despite missing six weeks with a jaw injury, Bedard played 68 games with an average of 19:47 ice time per game. After a busy summer as the No. 1 draft pick, he quickly transitioned to the World Championship after the Blackhawks' season ended on April 18.
