Chicago Blackhawks Game Preview

The Chicago Blackhawks are looking to improve after losing their first game of the season. Their top prospect Connor Bedard has had a good start with two assists. He will be the key in driving their offense as the season progresses. Nick Foligno also scored in the opener and brings a lot of experience to the young team.

Goaltender Petr Mrazek had a tough first game as he allowed five goals with a .846 save percentage. The Blackhawks will need better defensive play and goaltending to compete with the Jets. Despite struggling on offense, Chicago’s penalty kill has been strong and has stopped all power plays so far. However, their power play has yet to score.
