With a completely different roster playing their last preseason game against the Philadelphia Flyers, the Devils will be confident about their stance and form as their preseason tour was filled with high-scoring thrillers.

Despite losing its opening four preseason games, New Jersey has won two of its last three games and heads into this outing on a positive note.

New Jersey Devils injuries

Luke Hughes, Topias Vilen, Brett Pesce and Santeri Hatakka are all sidelined for the opening game for the Devils, with their return unlikely before their return to the U.S.

Buffalo will aim to use the new crowd to its advantage by starting on a strong foot and taking the lead as the Czechia crowd will raise the roof.
