Despite losing three of their first four games, the Oilers have found their rhythm as they have won two consecutive games since then. Victories against the Vancouver Canucks and the Seattle Kraken could be the boost they are looking for heading into the season.

The Kraken have found it difficult to get their engines running as they lost four of their five outings. They missed out on a playoff spot last season but will look to bounce back this campaign.

Seattle has conceded at least three goals in all of its games so far. Its defense needs to step up to give the team a chance to end the postseason on a high note and enter the 2024-25 campaign with some momentum on its side.

Seattle Kraken injuries

Seattle has no injured players and will head into the matchup with a full roster.

Oilers and Kraken key players

Connor McDavid has played well in the preseason as he has scored one goal and provided four assists. The return of Evan Bouchard and Leon Draisaitl will surely be a boost on the attacking front for the Oilers.

The performance of Ben Myers has been a silver lining for the Kraken with two goals and three assists in the preseason. Jared McCann & Oliver Bjorkstrand, the team's top point contributors last season, are both set to return to action which is highly anticipated by both the team's management and Kraken fans.
