The Boston Bruins were among the favorites for the Stanley Cup last season but fell short to the eventual champions, the Florida Panthers, in round two of the playoffs.

Having defeated the New York Rangers 5-2 in their last outing, the Bruins will be confident of putting their best foot forward against the Flyers.

Boston Bruins Injuries

The Bruins are injury-stricken as they see themselves without Brad Marchand, Max Jones, Alec Regula and Elias Lindholm.

Jones and Regula are both out on a short-term injury while Marchand recovers from his elbow, groin and abdominal surgeries since the summer. Lindholm's injury situation is still unclear.
