Iga Swiatek's ex-coach clears the air surrounding his split with the Polish star

Iga Swiatek's former coach Tomasz Wiktorowski has ended speculation that the Pole's psychologist Daria Abramowicz played a part in their split. Swiatek and Wiktorowski worked together for three years before announcing their split after the US Open.

The rumors suggested that Swiatek's psychologist played a part in her decision to sack her long-term coach. However, Wiktorowski claimed that he had good relations within the team.'

"I think that we generally had very good relations in the team. During three years of intensive cooperation, it is impossible to avoid difficult situations. But even then we always found a way to reach an agreement and get back on track," Wiktorowski said.

Iga Swiatek is yet to announce a new coach after her split with Tomasz Wiktorowski. The World No. 1 will compete for the first time since the US Open at the WTA Finals having skipped the Asian leg of the season.

Emma Raducanu opens up about her relationship with her mother Renee Zhai

Former US Open champion Emma Raducanu has claimed that her mother is her 'best friend'. The Brit star added that Zhai is her 'pillar of strength' as she navigates a tough start to her career.

Since her record-breaking US Open triumph in 2021, Raducanu has struggled with various injuries in the last couple of years. The Brit missed the majority of the 2023 season due to surgeries and struggled to compete in her comeback year in 2024.

During an interview with Women's Health Magazine, Raducanu opened up about the role her mother has played in her career. The 22-year-old claimed that her mother is her best friend and knows her inside-out.

"My mum is a big pillar of mine in all senses—professional and personal. She knows me inside out, it’s kind of freaky, so I go to her a lot. She’s my best friend,"

WTA stars dazzle at the Ningbo Open player's party

WTA stars like Anna Kalinskaya, Mirra Andreeva, and Daria Kasatkina were among the players to enjoy themselves at the Ningbo Open player's party. The opening ceremony and party was hosted by the WTA.

The Ningbo Open in China is a WTA 500 tournament with many top stars competing in the 2024 edition. Seven of the top-10 ranked players, including Paula Badosa and Anna Kalinskaya are set to compete at the event.

The players were welcomed at the Ningbo Open party night to celebrate the start of the tournament. Various WTA stars were dressed in traditional Chinese attire to celebrate the event. The official WTA page shared the pictures on Instagram with the caption 'A night out in Ningbo'.

Daniil Medvedev's wife Daria celebrates their daughter's second birthday in style

Daniil Medvedev and Daria Medvedev's daughter, Alisa, celebrated her second birthday on 14th October. Daria Medvedev put together an adorable party to celebrate the occasion.

Daria Medvedev shared pictures of Alisa blowing on the candles on her strawberry cake decorated with a bunny. The 28-year-old also posted a cute photoshoot with her daughter on the beach of Morocco.

Daniil Medvedev however missed the celebration as he is set to compete at the Six Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia. The Russian star arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh in preparation for the tournament.

Naomi Osaka spends some time with her daughter as she recovers from a back injury

Naomi Osaka is on 'mommy duties' as she recovers from the back injury that kept her out of the Japan Open. The Japanese star shared a picture of herself with her daughter enjoying her time off court.

Osaka posted an Instagram story with a video of her spending time with her daughter, Shai. She captioned the video as 'Mommy duties' as both Naomi and Shai could be seen strolling through a forest.

Osaka took some time off tennis after the birth of her daughter in July 2023 but has returned to professional tennis this year. The Japanese star is currently suffering from a back injury that is set to sideline her for the next few weeks.
