Steffi Graf once disclosed why she never felt jealous when her husband, fellow tennis legend Andre Agassi, was away from home. Agassi also explained why there was no need for his wife to have any doubts about his loyalty.

Agassi and Graf got married in 2001 and welcomed their son Jaden the same year, followed by the birth of their daughter Jaz in 2003. While the German retired from professional tennis in 1999 at the age of 30, Agassi continued competing on tour till the 2006 US Open.

In a 2006 interview with Freundin, Steffi Graf disclosed that the secret to their happy relationship was the deep trust they shared, highlighting that it was the most important factor.

"There is so very much trust between us. We can count on one another. That is the most important thing for me," Graf said.

When asked if she ever felt 'jealous' while her husband was on tour, Graf replied in the negative, explaining that they had a wonderful and stable relationship.

Andre Agassi promptly chimed in, emphasizing that he had no interest in other women. He described the German as the love of his life and the mother of his children, which would hold true even decades into the future.

"No, Andre and I have a wonderful, stable relationship...," Graf said
"(Breaking in) ... Other women don't interest me! Stefanie is the woman of my life, the mother of our children, and she still will be 50 years from now," Andre Agassi interjected.

Agassi also clarified that he didn't wear his wedding ring because it caused him discomfort while playing tennis, but asserted that his smile made it clear to everyone that he was happily married.

"It would bother me playing tennis. But I wear it quite close to me. If I go out, then the people know by my smile that I'm married," he said.

During the same interview, Steffi Graf opened up about making regular trips to Germany to visit her family and friends. However, Andre Agassi humorously revealed that the 22-time Grand Slam champion could barely handle being away from their children for two days, even when she knew that he was looking after them.

"Yes, of course. I always try to come to Germany at least once a year to visit friends and relatives," she said.
"But she seldom bears it without the children for more than two days, not even if she knows that I'm taking care of them," Andre Agassi said.

Graf concurred, explaining that they both experienced "withdrawal symptoms" when they were away from their kids, which was why they traveled as a family whenever possible. Agassi added that having his family close gave him a sense of peace and strength.

"True. Then I get "withdrawal symptoms." But that goes for you, too, Andre. That's why we always travel with you as much as possible," Graf said.
"Yes, it gives me peace and strength. Otherwise my thoughts would always be in Las Vegas," Agassi responded.

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf's children are grown up now. Their son Jaden is aiming to make Agassi a household name in the world of baseball, while their daughter Jaz is exploring her passions in dance, fashion and fitness.
