Taylor Fritz recently compared what it is like to play against Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. At the 2024 Laver Cup press conference, he said that he could not compare as the conditions were different at the US Open and Laver Cup.

"It's a little tough to compare the two, just because the conditions are so incredibly different. It's so much slower here versus US Open."

The American No. 1 said that Sinner's serve edged Alcaraz's, while the Spaniard gave very little time on the court.

"So it's very tough. But I did feel like Jannik maybe can serve a bit better, but from the ground I felt like I had pretty much no time to play [against Alcaraz] trying to just getting into rallies, feel things out, I just didn't really ever get to settle in."

Fritz added that both are 'insane' players.

"I was always being rushed and moved. I definitely feel like I had less breathing room against Carlos. But both insane players."

Taylor Fritz's most recent match came at the 2024 Japan Open, where he lost to Arthur Fils in the first round.
