Serena Williams paid tribute to Simone Biles and the rest of the American gymnastics team on their gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics with a stunning photoshoot last night. The retired tennis legend was also pictured rallying behind them at the Bercy Arena on Tuesday as they made a triumphant return to the top after falling short three years ago in Tokyo.
Biles, and her teammates Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, and Jade Carey delivered an excellent performance during the team finals, finishing with 171.296 points, a whopping 5.802 points ahead of second-placed Italy. Brazil finished third, taking bronze.
The Americans dominated from start to finish with Biles leading the line, and were deserved winners. With the win, Biles also became the most decorated American gymnast in the history of the Olympics Games with a total of eight medals, including five golds.
An elated Williams sent her love to the team via her Instagram on Wednesday night. She had a 'golden' five-part photo series lined up, where she was dressed in black with a golden backdrop celebrating the US gymnasts' success.

Williams has been in the French capital since the start of the summer games. She carried the Olympic torch alongside Rafael Nadal and Zinedine Zidane during the opening ceremony last week.
Serena Williams was joined by daughter Olympia during the gymnastics team final at the Bercy arena on Tuesday evening. The 23-time Grand Slam champion was also joined by the likes of Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Michael Phelps, and A'ja Wilson, among others.

Serena Williams starred at the Olympic Prelude event alongside a host of other stars on Thursday night in the lead-up to the 2024 Paris Olympics. She was joined by her husband Alexis Ohanian and daughter Olympia. Snoop Dogg, Mick Jagger, and Zendaya were among the other big names at the event.
Williams co-hosted the event alongside Charlize Theron, Rosalia, and Omar Sy. Legendary film director Steven Spielberg was also in attendance, while Didier Drogba and Novak Djokovic represented the sporting fraternity.
The event was held at the Frank Gehry-designed Fondation Louis Vuitton. It took place on Thursday, July 25th ahead of the opening ceremony.
