Caroline Wozniacki was one of the most prominent names on the WTA Tour in the 2010s. She is a former World No. 1 and a Grand Slam champion. However, two years after her triumph at the 2018 Australian Open, she embraced retirement after the Melbourne Major in 2020.

In June 2021, Wozniacki and her husband, David Lee, welcomed their daughter Olivia. Just over a year later, in October 2022, they became parents to their son, James.

The Dane returned to the tour in 2023 and has played multiple tournaments since. During a press conference at the 2024 US Open, she opened up about her marriage, motherhood, and how she balances it all with life on the tour.

"Of course marriage is a big thing and I'm very happily married but when you get married it doesn't really change your preparation for training or matches or days off," Caroline Wozniacki said (via "Punto de Break").
"Having kids makes a big difference. Obviously my kids are there every day and I'm so grateful for that. It's the best job in the world and I love it. I try to make sure that I'm still a 100 per cent present mum whilst also trying to balance being the best tennis player I can be. I think that's where it can get a bit tricky sometimes," Wozniacki added.

The Dane faced a 2-6, 6-3, 3-6 defeat in the fourth round of the 2024 US Open against Beatriz Haddad Maia. The World No. 70 has not participated in any events since the New York Major.
