Although Jessica Pegula has pulled out of the 2024 French Open, she recently shared her thoughts on the potential challengers to Iga Swiatek at the Major.

While speaking to NBC Sports, the American expressed her belief that Elena Rybakina could pose a formidable threat to the World No. 1 in Paris.

"I think (Elena) Rybakina can definitely, if she's healthy. I don't think she has ever lost to her, actually. I don't know if they've played much, though, on clay. But I think a girl like that can definitely beat her," she said.

The Kazakh enjoys a 4-2 lead in her head-to-head record against Swiatek, including a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win in their most recent encounter in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix semifinals.

If Elena Rybakina and Iga Swiatek navigate through their draws, they could set up a blockbuster title clash at the French Open.
