Serena Williams' ex-coach, Rennae Stubbs, shared her thoughts on Iga Swiatek's ex-coach Tomasz Wiktorowski's future after parting ways with the Pole. She also addressed whether she would ever consider coaching Swiatek.

Swiatek ended her partnership with Wiktorowski in early October after three years of working together. She joined hands with him in 2022, winning four Grand Slam titles (three consecutive French Opens and one US Open) under his guidance, along with a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics and many other achievements.

According to the veteran coach, the split was a "necessity" for both. He also brushed off any speculation that the Pole's sports psychologist, Daria Abramowicz, had influenced the decision.

Many prominent tennis figures shared their views on the situation, including Rennae Stubbs, who coached Serena Williams during the 2022 US Open.

In a conversation with Eliza Wastcoat in the 'Rennae Stubbs Tennis Podcast,' the Aussie discussed Tomasz Wiktorowski's potential next move, saying it wouldn't be difficult for him to find a job, especially as a man, which she implied would be harder if he were a woman.

"We will see. We have spoken about it: coaching carousel. If you are a man, you get a job in a week. If you are a woman, start begging. I don't know, we will see," Stubbs said (at 42:00).

The former tennis pro also talked about the prospect of coaching Iga Swiatek, saying:

"I am not going to coach Iga [Swiatek]. If she called me to coach her, I would be very happy to do it. But I do think she needs someone a little bit more fun, to be honest. A little bit more relaxing," Stubbs said.

Iga Swiatek has been out of tennis action since withdrawing from the China Open and the Wuhan Open, both WTA 1000 tournaments. Her World No. 1 rank is also at risk, with Aryna Sabalenka lurking in the corner.

Swiatek last competed at the US Open, reaching the quarterfinals before losing to eventual runner-up Jessica Pegula in straight sets. She is set to return to the court at the WTA Finals, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2-9.

The Pole has a strong track record at the year-end tournament, having won the title last year after defeating Pegula in the final.
