Chris Evert recently gushed over an adorable picture of his son Nicholas and grandson Hayden. Evert's son Nicholas and his wife Rebecca welcomed a baby boy in May 2024.

Evert, the former American player, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a picture of the father-son duo in which Nicholas planted a kiss on his son's forehead.

"My son and grandson… I am so lucky…❤️❤️❤️," Evert wrote.

Evert recently talked about her love for her grandson in an interview with The New York Times. The American said that he makes her want to live 'even more' after being diagnosed with cancer for the second time.

"I’m in love with this little baby already. It makes me want to live even more," Chris Evert said to The New York Times.

For the unversed, the former World No. 1 was diagnosed with cancer for the second time in December 2023. In the same interview, she talked about not living in fear of cancer and taking precautionary steps, such as CT scans, doctor appointments, and exercising.

“I’m not going to stop living my life. I’m going to keep going and keep going. You can’t live in fear. I just have to keep exercising, try and be as healthy as I can, and be up on all my CT scans and my appointments with the doctor,” she said.

Chris Evert gave a rare insight into her personal life in an interview with Daily Mail. She talked about her equations with her ex-husbands, saying none of them were her enemies.

"John [Lloyd] and I are great, Andy [Mill] and I are great, Greg [Norman] and I are....fine, let’s put it that way. I don’t have any enemies in life," she said.

Evert also mentioned how she was uninterested in getting married again and that the only people in her life were her sons.

"I have no-one in my life right now apart from my sons - my three boys - and my work. I don’t know if I’ll ever marry again - never say never - but I’m not looking. When I tell my friends that, they all say “You’re Lying” but it’s true," she added.

The American also stated that she was enjoying her single life and wanted to get comfortable with herself before getting into another relationship.

"Since I can remember, I’ve always been with someone, always had a husband, so it’s been really good for me to be on my own and learn to feel comfortable with myself. It’s a little bit like a liberation for me. I think I need to be by myself to grow and know myself before I even consider getting into another relationship," she said.

Chris Evert retired from tennis in 1989 and has 18 Grand Slam titles to her credit.
