Riki and Nouza dominated in the first set, converting one of their three break-point chances that they got. Most importantly, they did not give Prashanth and Jeevan a single chance to break their serve. The Czech duo smacked three aces and had a win percentage of 76 (13 out of 17) from their first serves. Prashanth and Jeevan looked tentative with their second serves, making two double faults.

The second set was pretty similar to how the first panned out. Rikl and Nouza made sure to convert one of their two break-point chances to have the last laugh. Even this time, Jeevan and Prashanth could not earn an opportunity to break their opponent’s serve.

Rikl and Nouza served brilliantly, pulling off three aces and having a win percentage of 88 (15 out of 17) from their first serves. Jeevan and Prashanth showed sparks of brilliance at several stages of the match, but the fact that they dropped their serve twice turned out to be the deciding factor.
