Andy Murray hilariously congratulated his wife Kim and the Cromlix Hotel team for winning Scotland's AA Hotel of the Year. He also jokingly pointed out a mark on Kim's nose, which looked unusual because of the lighting at the event.

Murray, 37, reportedly crossed paths with artist and tennis coach Nigel Sears' daughter Kim at the 2005 US Open. The couple got married on April 11, 2015, before Murray defeated Rafael Nadal at the Madrid Open. On winning the title, he credited his marriage for his success. Two years prior in 2013, the former player invested a part of his fortune (£1.8 million) to buy the luxurious Cromlix House Hotel in Scotland.

After spending £6 million on the renovation, Murray hosted his wedding reception at Cromlix, like his older brother Jamie. The hotel recently won another laurel, the AA Hotel of the Year (Scotland). Kim, who took over Cromlix with her husband, posed with the trophy, as posted by Andy Murray on his Instagram.

The two-time Olympic singles gold medalist commended his wife and said:

"At least someone in the family can still win stuff. Congrats to my wife and all the team @cromlixhotel for winning the AA Hotel of the year award for Scotland," his caption read.

The 15-bedroom Cromlix hotel features an Albert Roux restaurant and a chapel, among other amenities. The hotel is located in the secluded Stirlingshire countryside near Dunblane, Scotland.

In a post from six months ago, various ATP tour players voiced special notes of appreciation for their loved ones on international women's day. Andy Murray commended his wife for helping him push through in his career and raising their four children as posted on the Instagram handle of ATP Tour.

"I am going to go with my wife Kim. She's been, well, one unbelievable support throughout my whole career, particularly these last few years which have been pretty challenging for me and also bringing up four kids," Murray said.

Andy Murray retired from tennis after featuring in men's doubles at the Paris Olympics. Since then, he has often been spotted playing golf. In one of his post-Olympic interviews, he expressed his wish to be 'a scratch golfer' and be present for his wife and children as much as possible in the coming years.
