India vs Ireland will be the Indian hockey team's next assignment in Pool B of the men's hockey event at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The Indian team have had a good start to the Summer Games so far. They defeated New Zealand 3-2 in their opening game and then drew 1-1 with Argentina in a nerve-wrecking match.

India will be competing against a slighlty deflated Ireland who have lost both of their matches so far. Ireland lost their first game 0-2 to Belgium and then 1-2 to Australia. However, India will not be taking the match any lightly given the magnituted of the event.

India and Ireland have competed five times against one another in official competitions so far. Out of the five, India have come out victorious in four games. There has been one drawn game.

India have also competed against Ireland in three International friendlies, with India winning two games and one going to Ireland. While India have registered 23 goals across all games, Irealand have accounted for 13.

The last time the two teams met was in a match on February 25 in the 2023-24 FIH Pro League in Belgium. India whitewashed Irealand 4-0 in the match.
