5 rare Shiny Pokemon to hunt in Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024

The Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024 event will go live soon with a sizeable number of Rock-type and Fossil Pokemon features for trainers to hunt. Shiny variants of these Pocket Monsters are also available. Fossil monsters are generally rare encounters in the game. As a result, finding their Shiny versions becomes more challenging homework. Thankfully, by benefiting from the event bonus, participants can come upon them.

The Adventure Week event will run from August 2, 2024, at 10 am local time to August 12, 2024, at 11:59 pm local time. That said, here is a list of the five rare Shiny Pokemon to hunt at Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024.

Rare Shiny Pokemon to find at the Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024 event

1) Shiny Aerodactyl

Shiny Aerodactyl is a Pocket Monster that is believed to have existed in the world since the dinosaur era. In Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024, trainers will face difficulty while hunting for this altered-color variant. The event is going to increase the number of times the featured monsters will spawn in the wild. However, it will not be influencing the spawn rate of Aerodactly and its Shiny variant.

Because of this, the only viable option left to encounter Shiny Aerodactyl would be to visit locations experiencing Partly Cloudy and Windy weather in-game. You should then activate the Lure Modules and Incense to improve the overall wild spawn rate of this Pocket Monster.

2) Shiny Lileep

Field Research tasks have to be completed during the period of Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024 to encounter Shiny Lileep. Trainers, however, will most likely find the regular version, and the chances of finding the Shiny form are low. There are some Pocket Monsters whose Shiny odds are boosted in this event, but the odds of Shiny Lileep remain unchanged.

To receive any Field Research task in trainers’ game accounts, they can spin PokeStops. Tasks are assigned randomly, so one must complete as many tasks as possible to get the Shiny Lileep encounter. It's worth noting that there’s beauty in the struggle, so make sure you grind during the hours of Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024.

3) Shiny Tirtouga

All 7 KM egg hatches will experience an increased Shiny boost during the Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024 event. One of the Pokemon that can be obtained through hatch is Shiny Tirtouga. This is a dual Water and Rock-type species, and you will need to walk for seven kilometers to collect the hatched Shiny Titrouga while playing GO.

Interestingly, the possibility of encountering this rare Shiny Pokemon via Field Research rewards is high. That said, if trainers spend their game time hatching 7 KM eggs and finishing quests, they’ll most likely get Shiny Tirtouga at this event.

4) Shiny Anorith

The Collection Challenge for Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024 is yet to be revealed to the community. If Shiny Anorith becomes encounterable in it, you will be able to get it. If not, you’ll have to complete Field Research tasks to get your hands on it. Shiny Anoirth will be harder to find in the game compared to its standard color-scheme variant.

The event bonus that will boost the odds of Shiny Tirtouga won’t boost the odds for Shiny Anorith. Because of this, there’s no guarantee to encounter it. However, the event will last for quite a long time, so there’s time available to believe in luck.

5) Shiny Shieldon

Shiny Shieldon and its family line are Rock and Steel-type Pocket Monsters, and after a long time, this Pocket Monster will be receiving the Shiny spawn boost at the Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2024 yearly occasion.

The probable chance of encountering Shiny Shieldon via hatching 7 KM eggs and completing stories will be improved throughout the run. So, this means, the days of becoming a lucky player are finally back.
