All Pokemon GO Battle League Season 20 balance updates (Max Out update)

Pokemon GO Battle League Season 20 balance updates were revealed at the end of the Day 1 live stream of the Pokemon GO 2024 World Championships on August 17, 2024. The changes include a wide range of buffs and nerfs, move pool additions, as well as a battle mechanic change. These changes will go live on September 3, 2024, at 1 pm PT.

Battle mechanic changes coming to Pokemon GO Battle League Season 20

Starting at 1 pm PT on September 3, 2024, the switch timer will be reduced from 60 seconds to 50 seconds. This change was previously implemented as an April Fools Day prank. Niantic added a note saying that this alteration would be under evaluation and might be re-evaluated at the end of the season.
